Thanksgiving Thanks

Let me start out by saying, I'm eternally thankful for all the big things. My health, the health of my family, my home, my husband's job, food on our table, all our needs taken care of...I'm also thankful for these things this morning.

I'm thankful I am not at the parade downtown, freezing my arse off. But am sitting here with my favorite things. Cinnamon rolls, my kids, my iBook....waiting for my other favorite thing to arrive home.

I'm thankful for the perfect hair color...Toasted Coconut from Loreal

I'm thankful for my bed.

I'm thankful that my hangover, which lasted for the last 24 hours, is finally gone. (I swear to God I was roofied)

I am thankful I saw with my own eyes, my darling husband wearing tights this morning.

I am thankful I am not a runner and I didn't get up at 6am to drive downtown and run in wet, 20 degree weather.

I am thankful for my daughter's cute laugh and the charming way she says 'Jackass'.

I am very thankful that my Thanksgiving doesn't involve any level of dread. Although..I have to say this post, makes me yearn for a dysfunctional family to spend a little time with.

I'm thankful for my little boy's long eyelashes and big brown eyes.

I am thankful that mashed potatoes can be mushed down to make a little cup for gravy. Yum!

I am thankful for friends that make me laugh, friends that make me think.

I am thankful to have avoided any major trauma this year...after last year I was pretty worn out.

I am thankful for this sentiment.

I am thankful for magazines...I know...it's sad. I love them.

I am thankful for sweet potatoes and those marshmallows on top.

I am thankful I was never a part of a marching band.

I am thankful that my meal tonight involves no cooking or cleaning up after!
