I really didn't want to put a copyright thing on my site. It seemed a little....I don't know. But it's been brought to my attention I need to remind people to maybe think their own thoughts.

Lisa

can't leave a comment in the post below so I have to do it here.
I thought it was rather interesting that you were coming up in google. So....I put in my web log's name in google & it was the #1 item found. I guess I was naive in thinking that the only people that could get to my blog was those that I gave the address to! Ha!! Anyone can read *my* thoughts & opinions I guess!

This is a lesson in Google-ry

Google simply pulls words out of your posts and if those words match someone's search query...up comes your site.

For example, I didn't call my in laws 'assholes'..however I have mentioned my in laws...and I *also* mentioned the site I, Asshole.

Thus someone who was looking for their 'Asshole In Laws' pulled up my site. (I can find the searches that led someone to my site in my 'stats')

As a matter of fact, it might have been one of my very own in laws looking up 'Asshole In Laws' that brought them here to begin with! As I've said before the feeling is mutual, right? ;-)

Christine

You know, in my mental Google file, I have your inlaws filed under "People I think are ass holes even though I haven't met them."

Pat

In - laws

Be very careful about the in-laws.
When you insult them, you insult your husband.
after all, he is the product of them.....

You can lose your marraige over this in the long term and if you feel that is not true, you are very naive.

Be careful

Melissa

I appreciate your concern 'Pat'...

The problem is that I won't lose my marriage because *I* loathe my in laws.

I will lose my marriage because my husband has and continues to let his family do and say as they please without consequence.

This is why I will lose my marriage. Mostly I try not to hold his 'genes' against him, but sometimes I hold his behavior against him.

Thanks though.

beerzie boy

is that you with the crown?

Lisa

Pat,
Are you married? Do you have in-laws??
If not, I'm not surprised by your comments.

Lisa

Tara

Holy Cow - I thought my in-laws were bad.

Apparently the crazy "Pat"'s of the world
are so pathetic they have nothing better to do
then police your blog.

Hang in there.

Stacey

Response to Tara: I dunno.....I agree it's all a little weird, but if stuff about you was being published on the internet, wouldn't you read it? How could you not?

**Ed Note: Hmmm....this comment comes from a reader from DTE Energy services, using the same server that my dear friend uses...the same friend that works with my sister in law. Wierd! ....hmmm...I just have no idea who it could be. 'Stacey' ;-)

You know, 'Stacey'...I guess I can't blame them for reading, but the policing, the threats, any reference to the fact that I *have* in laws, much less that I don't like them...is bound to start up their rage.

I didn't start this site for them and I'm not continuing to use it in a way that pleases them, simply because *they* don't like what I'm writing.

If I were mired in defamation or libel...I might reconsider. But stating my opinions I can't and won't stop doing simply to protect the feelings of those who have so brazenly ignored my feelings.

'Stacey' I banned your ip so if you'd like to comment further, feel free to email me (your email address doesn't exist)
