So yes, the cat thing wasn't all that funny was it? But did you try watching it after 2 jumbo margaritas? It's really funny then.

The reason I gave you such a lame post was that I really wanted to write something at Dot Moms. It was long over due.

It may be more entertaining than the cat thing, but really....did you notice how the music was blaring that feel good music and the cat was just laying there totally oblivious? Didn't you see the irony? He wasn't the Dancing Queen at all, he wasn't dancing, he wasn't digging it. HE WAS JUST LAYING THERE!

So, go ahead and read: Expertise over there. Although, I can't guarantee it's any more amusing than my Cat! Sitting Around Like The Lazy Animal He Is! While Abba Blares In The Background! Comedy like that doesn't come around very often....

At least not if you're sober.

Y'know, I thought the cat was funny. I mean, he wasn't into it! Seriously! I swear to christ I'm not being sarcastic here, even though it totally sounds like I am.

I mean, somebody offscreen is like, "Oooh, yeah! ABBA! I LOVE ABBA!" and is all cranking it up and shit, and the cat's just sitting there thinking, "Shit. If they don't turn this crap down in six to nine minutes I'm gonna have to get up and go lie down somewhere else. I mean, reproductive organs or not, a cat's gotta have limits."

Yes! Yes! See....we'd had a child free day and I had 2 jumbo margaritas, and then we had a nap, and then Logan went to pick up the kids.

So I plugged in the iPod to the stereo to try and wake myself up with some loud music. I'm all by myself and I'm singing at the top of my lungs about the God Damn Dancing Queen and the cat is laying there in the middle of the floor wishing I would shut the fuck up.

I know something is wrong with me, but even last night I laughed about that stupid video.

Also, the cat was really thinking, "I just walked 6 inches to lay down here and now I'm going to have to move again and if I want to get away from this music...I'm going to have to actually go all the way to the bedroom and that's going to take me at least 2 hours of travel and rest time. Fuck the Dancing Queen."

Melissa, how could you have interpreted my failure to comment on the cat video? Some works of art are so complete, so perfect, that it defies amplification. The whole, round, harmonious completion of that priceless work "Dancing Queen" is one example of such an accomplishment.
