Relief Pitchers
I have something new up at Dotmoms.
Here it is.
We're working with deadlines now, which is helpful for me. However, it's especially helpful when you actually REMEMBER the DATE of your deadline. I had in my head the 9th and 24th....I'm actually the 9th and 23rd. I'm sharp.
Anyway....there it is.
Great job, Melissa. And I am WITH YOU! I love having my boys around. I actually look forward to summer with GREAT anticipation. However, I never felt that sad, lonely hole that others around me felt when both of my children were in school. In fact, though I love summers by the pool with the boys and spending time in "reading marathons" with them, by the end of the summer I am, quite simply, over it and ready for school to start. Oddly, now that both of my children are in elementary school, I seriously do not feel that I have much more "me" time than I did before. Life is very curious that way....

Great post! I'm still laughing. I'm one little step ahead of you -- my youngest just started first grade.
If you think you are drunk on 2.5 hours of freedom, just wait until you have 35!! One would think I'd get a LOT better at those practical things you mentioned, like cleaning the house. Uhhhh, well, not exactly. I'm getting really good at watching Dr. Phil. And blogging up a storm. And reading other people's blogs.
I'm really enjoying yours!
