Christmas 2004
Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning 2004
Gift Opening and The Favorite Gift (pirate ship).
Late in the day, still playing. Arrrr! and The Tower Of Capitalist Excess (in our kitchen!).
Here we started taking pictures for Maddie's new journal. Max was pissed off he didn't get to control the camera. Also a picture of Gary, the 'fat one' because that black blob there under his head is all his body. He's not fluffy, he's HUGE.
Maddie took both these shots. First you'll see me choking the cat. Second you'll see me kissing the cat. I have a confession. I think I've started to fall in love with our cats. Last week as I prepared for The Very Important Party Socks ran out the back door which mysteriously opened. When I thought of her out in the cold rainy night being beaten by all the street cats in our neighborhood I started to cry. Then, this week.....I can't believe I'm typing this. I considered divorcing Logan just so I can be a crazy cat lady.
Merry Christmas From The Cat Lady!
Those are great pics of your kids! The one of you with the cat is stunning however. Your hair looks wonderful as well!
I'm glad you had a good Christmas!

Are you sure you're trying to strangle Socks? I think it just looks like you want to "pop" his head off. Merry Christmas!!

Mmmm, let us know how you tame the tower of excess. Currently we are considering an addition we can't afford in order to store our family’s gift giving proclivities. We have asked for less, for small and for quieter and of course, each year we get more, which tends toward larger and louder. Fa la la!

Is that still the bad haircut? Because it looks fabulous. And if that's what it looks like on Christmas morning, I'm so going to have to start hating you.

Great picture of you and the cat. How old is Max? My son Mason is 2 and ok, almost 3. We started in on Rescue Heroes this year- got a bunch of hand me downs from an older cousin- and 2 new ones from Santa. He has played with his "guys" for 24 hours now,all the time. But they create a tower of excess all over the house. Hell my whole house is excess. If the garbage men don't start picketing when they come by I will be stunned.

That picture of Max frowning is SOOOO going in our office. And GODDAMN! My niece is beautiful.
Oh, and what's up with the "no alcohol for sale on X-Mas" crap?! Come ON! Your little Jeebus MADE wine for god's sake(literally.)- why can't we celebrate with a glass or 5? Especially here in Mini-Mecca (AKA Hamtramck) where the Muslims outweigh the christians like, 4 to 1.
miao.

You look like Olivia D'Abo (but then I bet you hear that all the time). Beauty.

Look Melissa, I really love your blog and all, and have, in the past, felt like I could "totally relate" to you, blah blah blah. But, I'm sorry, I can no longer relate to you knowing that you have a butt that cute. Just can't. Damn you.

also your kitty totally is in love with you. you guys would make a good couple all alone in a little house with your rocking chair and a shawl.

I was going to mention something about how fabu your hair looks, too, but a bunch of people beat me to the punch. And then I thought - can you ever really hear TOO MANY compliments about your hair? I think not.
Glad you guys had such a great Christmas. My mother in law got the 2 year old a trampoline. Yes. A tramp. O. Leene! But I guess that's what grandparents are for, right? Adding to the Tower of Capitalist Expense.
