Leaving.
Were you aware that my 6am departure tomorrow morning is actually 3am California time.
Do you think the flight attendant in first class will spoon me if I ask?
I always love my kids so much more the night before I leave for a weekend away. How ironic.

Hey Melissa!! AM I picking you up? I need your flight details!!

I don't think it's ironic, but you know who does. (And I doubt she'll be at Blogher.)
Re: the spooning -- that comes virtually free in coach class, ask for it or not.

{(}) <-- an awkward bon voyage hug. Or, somethin' dirty. Interpretation is up to the reader.

Maybe you'll be a member of the mile high club!!!
Happy Trails.

WOO! HOO! You're in flight right now! Have a wonderful time and can't wait to hear all about it!

Thinking of you Melissa! It's a beautiful, sunny morning start in DTW to take off from. I hope your flight is going well and that you have a wonderful time! I'll drive by your house and wave to the "weemies" (my aunt's term for children). Maybe I'll go to the Brewery tonight in honor of you. Can't wait to read all about your trip.
Phil and Flippy, your comments cracked me up.

GOOD LUCK AND HAVE A BLAST! Hope you get spooned! ;0)
Tomorrow I will be kid free and husband free, I am on cloud 9!

I have done first class, and the reason that Phil thinks you'll get spooned in first class, is because the all the first class flight attendants, whether they are wearing skirts or pants (if you get my drift) are looking for Phil's "type" (if you get my drift) You however can get plenty of booze and snacks to fill the void that lack of spooning creates.
Can't wait to hear what the rest of us missed.

"it's like ra-a-ain on your wedding day, a fuh-ree ride when you're already there..."
Thanks for the laugh, Phil.
And be as lude, crude and low-class as you can be this weekend, Melissa. Can't wait for the dirty details.

De-Lurking to wish you well...and wish I were there with everyone.
Good luck and have fun!

Oh how I want to know THAT love, FEEL that love.
Spooning in first class wouldn't suck either.
You're so lucky. Have a great time!
