News!
I only have two minutes because a) I started my Christmas shopping today and still have more to do. And b) Flogging Baby just switched platforms and it's infuriatingly difficult for me, because I'm a dolt, to learn and I must reach my quota for the month.

But I had to tell you that today I got a special surprise in my mailbox.
Oh I am a negative one. I am able to talk myself out of feeling good about just about anything. Nonetheless, it's pretty cool to see your name in a table of contents.
Let me be the first to say Yay!!!!! You're published! I've had mine pre-ordered on Amazon since November. It must be on its way!

Congratulations! I can only imagine how exhilarating it must feel to have your name in print in a book that many many people will read. I simply must go to my local Indigo bookstore and check it out. Once again, congrats woman.

I will so totally meet you and Pants and anyone else at the RO Barnes and Noble, put the books on a table, and discuss loudly with my husband and anyone else how exciting it is that Melissa Summers is in this book, that she is such a witty writer and I LOVE her work, and see if I can generate some sales. I'll even wear my glasses so I look all bookish and literary.
