The Happy Hour Shoppe
First, Lori, sent me an email the other day. I haven't responded to it because my email is a ridiculous mess. I've tried starting a ton of folders. One for Flogging Baby, one for Flogging Baby Comments, one for Suburban Bliss Comments, one for people I have an easy time replying to quickly, one for things I'll need to think about and get back to. The one where I have to think? Is a huge mess and my system has fallen apart about 14 days after I started it.
Anyway, Lori has is the foster mother to a dog who lost his people in Hurricane Katrina. He came to them in horrible shape. He was covered in cuts and those cuts were terribly infected. He's worn down his teeth attempting to chew through the chain which held him in his yard. Not broken, worn right down. He's doing great but needs more care than Lori can give him, but there is a place which can help him. Go see Lori's site to see how you can help.
Next up.
Remember last year at Valentine's where Logan showed me up with his great Valentine's day gifts?
We had great response and Logan made up a few for people who emailed asking about them, so this year we decided to put them up for sale.
I made the Happy Hour Shoppe and you should go take a peek around. We'll be adding more items over time and I'll be sure to let you know when that happens. But for now. Go on. Go look!
holy crap! you guys are so clever! i love them and will definitely place an order.

I am all about the paper products and I already sent you an email because I am also all about the dorky quick hoarding of things I like and want but don't actually really truly nee-eeeeed.
I neeeed some of these.
For something.

Hilarious. I especially love the French ones. Also Mom's Lost Loves, but mostly the French ones.

Aw, the Jazz story made me all weepy. I hope Lori raises enough money for him even before the day is over.

All I can say is thank you! And Jazz thanks you too!! I came to check your blog and was so totally surprised to see it had me and my Jazzy Boy in there......(made me tear up and cry!)
Thank you all for helping Jazz. He is such an amazing dog and has so much love to give. I would totally adopt him if it were possible....And he is up for adoption, so if anyone is interested, email me and I''ll give you all the particulars....(I'm in Los Angeles, but the rescue place I work with is so committed to finding good homes they do special things.....like drive 4 dogs to a ranch in Nevada, because the people were so great and would give the dogs a fabulous home....pretty cool bunch of people!)
Anyway.....THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

I put the link in my Blogmarks, hopefully Jazz will get some attention that way. He's adorable, and I hope he can go to the rehab. I wanted to adopt a Katrina dog, but the new house doesn't have a yard big enough for me to justify another dog right now. :(

I am so getting one! Thank you! (And Logan, really)

Ditto on the "you both are so clever" comment!
As someone fostering a difficult dog at the moment (bringing the household total to THREE big dogs), I just wanted to thank you for putting Jazz's link on your page. The world needs more people willing to help homeless animals any way they can. You rock.

I LOVE those pads, they crack me up. Hey, did you know that you can take those to a print shop and they can pad them up for you (you know, with the glue stuff) for really cheap? That way you wouldn't have to deal with the crappy stapler and it wouldn't deter from the design. Sorry, I worked in a print shop for too damn long.

"Talk to my ass, I have a headache?"
You guys rock.
