Made me smile
In my inbox this morning (amongst many other sunny things)(thank you) from my girlfriend to everyone in our little playgroup.
"Hey, thanks for hanging out on Wednesday. I caught your period. Thanks."
We're going to Exposure Detroit tonight featuring the photography of Bobby Alcott. If you're in Detroit you should come by Karas Bros. tavern.
I hope you don't catch my period.

I found you blog through a series of random events. It hasn't saved my life, but gives me much comfort to know at least I am not alone. I am sad to the degree that I cannot really remember what happiness feels like. I feel like it is my fault. I feel like I am failing my family. I want to feel better, I don't even know where to start (after reading your blog, i don't think it will be with therapy. If I paid money to listen to "perk up" type comments, the therapist would probably need physical therapy). Thank you for being honest, I wish I had your courage. I hope you make it through this time...hope I do to.

I'm about to catch your period. Good to know where that came from... Glad you had lots of sunny things in your e-mail. (Susan from the e-mails the other day)

I think you should be more subversive than you are and maybe steal the toilet, maybe take a hammer to it or something equally as good (of course in secret, the dead of night). That way, it will be gone from your sight and you will feel satisfaction in having accomplished it.

Wow...Bobby Alcott. He used to have this band, My Brother's Keeper, you see. And I was a groupie. The tighest funk band you ever heard. Thet boy's got pipes. Does he still sing?
Now I have "Vehicle" stuck in my head. :)
His photos are beautiful. I'm happy for him and his family. His wife was so gracious, letting us college girls stare at the band all night. She's a saint.
