Oh My God, He Really Does Work With Prepubescents.

I misunderstood Logan during our phone call last night. He did not go to the Tiki bar he's been dying to go to for forever.

They went.
To.
Disneyworld.

They went to the Polynesian for drinks, (the 13 year olds had shirley temples) and then they went on rides.

I hope they stuck to ones which weren't too scary for the little kids. Like the Tea Cups.

Madison and Max are pretty much pissed.

Poor Logan! I was excited for him because I assumed you meant the Mai Kai, and it is the finest tiki bar in the land. Next week will be my fourth trip to The Hukilau (a FL tiki-con) and on Sat night my husband and I will be throwing back Mai Tais and Mara-Amus and watching the island dancers. I never got to see the Kahiki, although we do have a couple of mugs from there. I hope one day you and Logan both make it to the Mai Kai!

This sounds EXACTLY like what is happening in my house...my husband moved us to South Carolina for a job and has been working in CHI-FRICKIN-CAGO for the last 2 weeks...you know "working" which is defined as: going to the Sears Tower (sight seeing), checking out a Sox/Yankees game, going to all kinds of "fun" things the kids would LOVE!!!!

Yeah, I think Logan owes you big time too. DH's company has offices in Orlando, and you know whenever he gets called down there for a meeting, the kids and I are going too.

In fact, I can't believe he actually had the nerve to tell you that he went to Disney!

Enh. He drove with the kids 5 hours to Indy while I had a kid free weekend at the beginning of the month.

It all evens out. Except if you're a kid and you've never been to Disney and your dad goes by himself.

Heh. We took our kids to Orlando this past weekend and took them to Disney World, except we didn't go into a park. We just went to Downtown Disney. It was free, including the parking. We walked around in a bad storm and said "no" 100 times to their requests for expensive crap. I don't think i've ever been to Orlando without spending $1000.
