I really didn't want to put a copyright thing on my site. It seemed a little....I don't know. But it's been brought to my attention I need to remind people to maybe think their own thoughts.

The Verdict.

If you're laughing at this....

While out shopping we saw this chicken hat for the cats and knew they would love it so we brought it home. They look like they're loving it don't they? Which is surprising since usually cats don't like to wear shit on their heads.

Bawk Bawk.

Here is Logan all wrapped up as a mummy.

Mummy

It was a nice costume except it started falling off of him before we even got to the party. There's not a lot more pathetic than a mummy with a droopy ass. Poor guy.

As for me. I didn't wear a costume, I just gave up my personal grooming for a few days.

I didn't wear a costume...

Inspired by Jim's idea to wear an eye patch and when someone asks if you're a pirate you say, "No, what the fuck?" I laughed about that all day and was going to do it but then I saw the mustache and I forgot how much I love fake mustaches.

As we left Logan said I should have worn a sign which read, 'Mustache Rides 10 Cents'. Too much work. I walked in and my friends were annoyed with my non-costume costume. I still found it incredibly hilarious, holding regular conversations with people through a very thick mustache. When people asked what I was I said, "Oh God! We were supposed to dress up?" If they pushed it I then said, 'Wow, thanks. I missed one wax session all right? God!"

Later I put the mustache over my eyes and later on my chest where I pretended to have no idea what people were looking at. However, after reviewing the pictures people were not looking at the mustache on my chest, they were wondering how I walked out of the house wearing a shirt which showed my bra. I'm sure I've made an excellent impression on all the parents at the new school who were at the party.

Nice.

Next year I'll just be a mummy so at least I'm not showing my breasts to the PTA.

Comments

"Mustache rides" was brilliant. Logan should be a copy writer. For a lesbian burlesque vaudeville act. (If you can work the chicken-cats & your breasts into it, so much the better.)

I wore the exact same costume - identical mustache and all. I found it amusing, but difficult to eat hummus. (Seriously.)

I'm betting they won't forget you.

oh my god logan is such a dork! I love it. that's better than when lindsay lohan showed up to the sexy costume party all unsexy, and he was so disappointed.

I like your costume. not many heroines can tie themselves to the railroad tracks while heaving their bosoms and twirling their mustaches.

We thought about getting that same chicken hat for one of our cats, but she would murder us in our sleep if we even brought it into the house. I love seeing them in action (on your kitties), though.

Did you see the lobster costume for a dog? (Madison probably spotted it if she was with you.) The picture of the dog on the package showed a corgi wearing the costume - I almost cried for laughing so hard. I love corgis.

The cats look as overjoyed as any cat wearing a hat does.

The shame with Logan is that he has a rockin' hott bod and doesn't even bother to show it off by being a slutty construction worker or something...no, he covers himself up. Sigh.

I LOVE the mustache idea. But I am weird.

Love the cat photos!
Have you seen stuffonmycat.com?

Every thing looks hilarious on a Corgi because they walk on their elbows.

I have done the chicken hat thing, too.

I'm in the process of making all of my friend's cats try it on too.

Endless hours of amusement, I tell you.

The costumes are hilarious but your lovely kitchen is what caught my eye. The new house is perfect!

The 'stache is great, works well with the bosoms (and what is a fake 'stache without your bra hanging out too, I ask you?).

The cats look neither overjoyed nor annoyed, but simply very intense -- they appear to think you've enrolled them in the Witness Protection Program and this is what they have to wear now.

I MUST have a chicken cat hat!! Where did you get it? I have 3 felines DYING to wear one.

Two things:

1) I so want your kitchen, and I want it bad. My checkbook just laughed at me.

2) Yup, that shirt is really revealing! And you still have tan lines from the summer - bonus!

Longtime lurker checking in with this suggestion: Check out the Threadbangers DIY ideas for costumes this year (www.threadbanger.com). Better yet, they have some great ideas in today's "Slacker edition, available at www.threadbanger.com/episode/HAL_20071031.
Fridge magnet? Rock on!
