Hopefully the 'Other Places' category will be smaller now.
After thinking a lot about what I want to be doing in the next five years, I decided I needed to pull in a little closer to Suburban Bliss. So with that said, please read here for a smallish announcement.
At the Buzz Off I made you something you can download and use at your next party.
And here I didn't really make you anything and I'm sorry for that.
The other day Logan asked me to write something which is not about how much I love living here.
And I'm trying, I really am.
Except we have a garage and our cars sleep in there and then? In the morning? You can just get inside the cars and you don't have to brush off the snow or scrape off the ice.
What can be more riveting than that?
Here's a secret: I am afraid if I don't spend every day reminding myself how much I love it here, it will be taken away from me because I'm not grateful enough. Just like, as a kid, I believed they canceled Joanie loves Chachi because I didn't watch it enough.
Okay, I'll admit it. . .I love this announcement. I have been secretly hoping to read more here, and this is my little Christmas bonus!

Oh, if only we could actually fit a CAR in our GARAGE! It is, indeed, awesome.

Oh, so it was you. And here I thought that JlC just kind of sucked.

I say, with the hell you lived with at the old house, fawn away. You've deserved it! You no longer have to sit in the corner in a fetal position saying "find a happy place!, find a happy place!" to yourself. You're actually there. Celebrate! (But only when there's a man around to supervise of course.)

If you're happy with where you are, you can talk about it all you want. I'm happy for you! And yes, garages are nice, aren't they? Especially when they're not filled with woodworking tools and weight-lifting equipment and a lawnmower and wooden planks and...oh wait. That's my garage. Lucky you get to park in yours.

I'm going to be thinking of you tomorrow morning when I'm scraping snow & ice off of my car 2 hours before I actually have to leave for work. You're so lucky, and I love that you don't take any of it for granted. It's really cool to read about how happy you are with where you guys are living.

Please, please say that you'll be bringing the old Did They Eat It? in some form back here at Suburban Bliss. I swear your recipes were easy and delicious. I like the way you think about cooking even though I just have a fiance to cook for!

I think I will but it will just be a category on this site.

Awesome. I love your entire site, but that's one of my favorite parts!
