She's a yankee doodle dandy.
My third grade teacher wore red, white and blue every single day. I don't know if she was incredibly patriotic or just very practical with her wardrobe.
However, I realized this week I think she is to blame for my very practical and very boring wardrobe.
Which isn't fair since sometimes this teacher would wear a neckerchief or a beret and I have never worn a neckerchief. I wore a beret once in 1985.
I will probably never wear a neckerchief.
Probably.

LOVE the redesign. It was worth the wait. I don't know your clothing style well enough to comment, but you definitely have a sense of style on your blog.

I love the neckerchief, for a couple of reasons.
A few I wear because I feel it makes me look French, and anything that can make me less...well...Scandinavian farmgirl....is only a good thing.
Also, I imagine people thinking I'm wearing the scarf to cover a horrible scar on my neck, and inside their heads they're thinking 'what a brave girl, to incorporate scar coverup into fashion - kudos to her!'
Clearly I need another creative outlet.
I second the 'Yay For Redesign' - v. cute!

OMG! I have no idea what possessed me to buy or even wear it, but I, too, wore a beret ONCE in 1985. It was purple. How embarrassing. But not as embarrassing as my piano keyboard scarf.

Mine was blue.
And I have a distinct dislike for turquoise jewelry because of my 1st grade teacher whom I was convinced was a witch. It's sad because I live in NM, the turquoise jewelry capital of the world (if there is such a thing).
