Block Party 08
We had our annual block party a few weeks ago. Every weekend since then has been full of some sort of fun activity, I can't keep up. There are, of course, worse problems to have.

You really DO live on the coolest block in the country. I forgot how awesome-sounding your block party was until I got to the photos of the men's bake off entries. Are you going to post Logan's winning recipe? Please?!

OMG this looks so fun, I want to live in your neighborhood. Or, I want my neighborhood to get a lot cooler.
Logan's dessert looks amazing.

What fun!! I wish there were more kids in our neighborhood...

I am jealous. We don't get to have block parties. We are lucky if we even *see* our neighbors. Wait. In some cases, that could be a good thing.

Wow! I was looking at the first photo of the bake-off entries thinking, "who HAS a cakestand that beautiful?" and then had to laugh when I saw in the later photo that it was Logan's entry.

All of your block party photos made me want to move to your block. Never mind that it's Michigan and that I would die in the winter. You're block looks/sounds amazing. And no matter what anyone says, you totally deserve this, Melissa.

Is it just me or does your street look, especially with the block party, EXACTLY like the street in the movie "She's Having a Baby"? I've always loved that movie and wanted to live in a neighborhood like that. Cool party...looks like everyone had a great time!

So jealous! I wanna live on a cool block too - all the people in my neighbourhood are old and retired. Retired people aren't fun like that.
I think I have to move.

That first photo is what you'll be seeing of Max in about 9 years.

How friggin' awesome! I remember that the Arnolds had block parties on The Wonder Years, but I didn't know it happened in real life.

Hmmm...I'm curious about that tart. It looks delicious, and if it's the Giada DeLaurentis recipe, then I have made it before and it is as good as it looks! Yum!

People in Michigan look just like people in California! Who knew?
I know. What did I expect? Eskimo's?
